Seeing Anew: An Introduction to Systemic Coaching and Constellations in the Workplace

November 23, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 5:30 pm

Purpose

Are you looking for a way of working that widens and deepens your ability to take a more holistic view of your own, your clients’ or your team’s complex challenges in the workplace?

Please join us for this deeply experiential day to see and explore how Systemic Leadership Coaching with Constellations provides a frame, a process, a philosophy/ontology and a methodology for:

  • Mapping the whole system, its parts and their connections – including the past, present and the future
  • Giving space and place to the the marginalized, overlooked or forgotten
  • Identifying sticking points, patterns and outdated ways of being
  • Reconnecting to, and better integrating, resources and strengths – and attuning to purpose.
  • Attending to the conscious and the unconscious
  • Making good use of all ways of knowing – including the embodied, the intuitive, the sensory and the emergent
  • Bringing into view next steps and new moves that can renew flow and flourishing

Who is it for?

If you are a coach, a change agent or consultant, an HR or OD professional – either internal or external – or a leader and you are seeking a more whole person, whole system way of seeing and working with complex, layered and interconnected personal and work based challenges, this introductory day is for you.

Benefits of attending
  • Understand a living systems approach to challenge and change
  • Discover possibilities for generative action with a current challenge you face
  • Learn new (Systemic constellation) practices for gaining insight into and working with the intangible influences on your own or your clients’ future issues
  • Resource yourself personally and in your professional role
  • Deepen back into your presence and the ground of your knowing
  • Connect and network with like-minded professionals who are looking for more powerful and sensitive ways of meeting the questions and needs that are emerging in our shared and personal working worlds

Process of the day

In the morning you will be guided, at an introductory level, to work with a variety of tools this approach offers including floor markers desk-top mapping to gain insight into, and deepen your resourcing around, a work-based challenge or question of your own that is live for you now in your work.

In the afternoon you will be able to observe, experience and contribute to some full in-person constellations and see how this way of working can offer new whole system insights when applied in different work related contexts such as:

  • For coaches or consultants seeking supervision to better understand: their client, their client’s issue, and their client’s system; how they as helpers are interacting with and being activated by their client’s system; and how they can best place themselves to serve their client and do the work that is theirs to do.
  • For leaders, HR or OD professionals to help them better see and understand the systemic dynamics at play in the team, business, change or issue they are holding and guiding in their leadership role.
  • Coaches and other practitioner professionals who are exploring an issue of their own, perhaps to do with their own purpose, their business, their energy or their stuckness as they face into a vocational challenge, change or question of direction that is occupying them.
