Seeing the Whole: Systemic Leadership and Coaching with Constellations — Introduction to the Essentials

November 11 @ 9:30 am - November 13 @ 5:30 pm

Water drop on leaf
Purpose

Now in its 50th iteration, this three-day course introduces you to the essential principles, methods, and skills of Systemic Leadership and Coaching with Constellations. It is designed to help you begin integrating this profound systemic lens — and a set of powerful tools — into your existing practice of leading, coaching, or catalysing others through change.

Systemic Leadership Coaching with Constellations has emerged over the last twenty years as a powerful, awareness-based “whole self / whole systems” approach for seeing and transforming challenges in our personal and organisational lives. By creating maps of the whole system, constellations enable the invisible dynamics of even seemingly intractable situations to be revealed – and often resolved – quickly and effectively.

To help you apply this work in real-world settings, the course focuses on equipping you with simple yet potent tools you can use immediately: to diagnose issues, test solutions, and discover new pathways for generative action.

Benefits: Developing Your Capacity

This programme grounds you in the core perspectives and practices of systemic leadership and coaching, and the art of harnessing systemic intelligence — whether in 1-1, team, organisational, or wider systems contexts.

Specifically, you will develop or enhance your capacity to:

  1. Understand the“3 Movements” of Systemic Leadership, and apply them to navigate personal, team, or organisational challenges.
  2. Learn the key principles, origins, and sources of this work, and the CLEAR™ method — a step-by-step approach to Systemic Leadership Coaching and Constellations.
  3. Use CLEAR and the constellating method in both 1-1 and team coaching contexts, as well as set up simple diagnostic constellations to gain a systemic overview of your own or your clients’ challenges.
  4. Map issues and systems using a variety of methods — from table-top constellations and floor markers to human representatives — so you can work flexibly across settings.
  5. Draw from all four ways of knowing: intuitive, emotional, embodied, and intellectual intelligence.
  6. Understand, both experientially and conceptually, the“hidden orders” that shape human and organisational systems, and how they enable organisational change and wellbeing.
  7. Find the most empowering place in relation to a wider system, and understand what this approach requires of the leader or facilitator in terms of stance, presence, and systemic capacity.
  8. Integrate these practices to strengthen your ability to lead, coach, and support others with greater awareness and impact.

There will be many opportunities to explore your own personal and organisational systems through experiential exercises and live demonstrations. We will dive deep (but lightly), we will have fun and we will learn together!

Who is it for?

This programme is for:

  • Executive coaches and change agents (internal or external)
  • Leaders and managers in all sectors who are supporting others through transformation and want to bring a systemic lens to their work
  • Coaches with prior systemic training (e.g. ORSC™) who want to deepen their constellating capacity and understanding of the underlying thought framework
  • Facilitators and practitioners working in the fields of sustainability, regeneration, or social innovation

You’ll find this course especially valuable if:

  • You’re feeling stuck or stressed by complex, systemic challenges
  • You’re seeking a way of leading, coaching, or facilitating that draws more on your whole self — including your presence, embodiment, and intuition
  • You want to explore approaches that more fully reflect the living systems you and your clients are part of

The course will also likely challenge and expand how you see yourself and your work as a leader, coach or change agent, while increasing your awareness of how organisations and people can flourish at a deeper level.
